LC Water and CCB Envico is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the design, construction, commissioning, and delivery of the Bendigo Water Reclamation Plant Solids Handling Upgrade Project. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, from design through to final handover.
About the Role:
You’ll oversee all aspects of project delivery including compliance with HSE requirements, cost control, stakeholder management, procurement, and team leadership. Working closely with the principal and project stakeholders, your focus will be on risk mitigation, maintaining program timelines, managing subcontractor performance, and fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery in accordance with contract and regulatory requirements
- Implement and manage project-specific HSE systems, ensuring a strong safety culture
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement across all phases
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications
- Manage cost, contract, and procurement activities within delegation and budget
- Build strong relationships with Coliban Water, local authorities, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with the Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) and relevant industrial relations policies
- Inspire and lead a high-performing project team
About You:
- Proven experience managing complex water, wastewater or similar process related projects, with a minimum project value of $20 million.
- 15 years’ experience in successfully delivering projects. Through strong leadership, planning, safety focus and commercial acumen.
- Familiarity with Victorian Water Authority Major Works Contract – Design and Construct Head Contract conditions and compliance processes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and team management skills
