The Drouin Wastewater Treatment Plant represented the sixth joint venture project built by CCB Envico and Icon SI (formerly Cockram Construction). The project involved a new 4.2ML/day membrane bioreactor (MBR) Waste – Water treatment plant to augment existing lagoon-based wastewater treatment plant. The new WWTP plant comprises: – Inlet pumping and Screens modifications – Fine screens and Flow split system – Membrane and Bioreactor trains – Blower & Backwash building – Switchroom – Chemical area – Sludge dewatering – Odour control facility – Chlorination Disinfection System Upgrade – Administration building The scope also included civil site works, roads, pavements, drains, swales, pipework and mechanical equipment, fittings, valves, reinforced concrete pile and structures, structural steelwork, buildings, building services, electrical components, instrumentation and controls, programming and associated works and design detailing where required. The project represents the largest single wastewater investment by Gippsland Water to date.
