Shoalhaven Heads WTP

This project involved the construction of a new twin cell 8,000 EP Intermittent Decant Extended Aeration (IDEA) wastewater treatment plant. Replaced a 60-year-old oxidation ditch plant and provided an upgrade capability to 12,000 EP. The scope included: ​ construction of new inlet works​, IDEA tanks, sludge lagoons​, all switch rooms and machinery buildings​, Caustic, Chlorine and Alum Dosing systems were provided as well as a full site re-use system with the effluent piped to the adjacent Shoalhaven Golf Course and Turf Farm. ​
