Reeves International was engaged as the Head Contractor under a Design and Construct contract. The project scope included demolishing existing residential assets and undertaking the design, manufacture (prefabricated) and construction of six residences and one Chancery Annex. Reeves embarked on a regional first by taking high end, environmentally efficient, prefabricated buildings into one of the most remote locations in the Pacific. The project has established a benchmark of design principles for prefabrication of buildings in remote areas. The benefit and clear outcome for the project was the increased ability for Reeves to achieve a higher level of quality and faster onsite assembly than a more traditional building methodology.
